Tires are one of the garbage that we often find at the bottom of the sea. But they don't have to end up as garbage and certainly not in the sea. Together with students of grades E and F of Lemnos, we learned that a "trash" can be used differently and not end up as waste.
Through two workshops, we transformed 30 old tires into unique and imaginative ones artistic creations. Some are for recycling bins and some for pots!
The program of actions entitled "Marine environment, coastal threats and fisheries", implemented as part of action 6.2 interactive events on beaches and fishing village, in collaboration with Development of Lemnos SA.
