SYMBIOSIS

SYMBIOSIS is an open and creative makers project in Thessaloniki, giving everyone the opportunity to learn, create and experiment with reuse and the circular economy.

Through free, hands-on workshops, participants will explore plastic, wood, metal and paper reuse, the repair of electrical appliances, and 3D printing by reusing a variety of materials. With access to tools, equipment and guidance from experienced makers, everyone can bring their own idea to life, turning a thought into a real object or small project.

SYMBIOSIS is a project where creativity meets environmental action. It's an opportunity to learn, experiment, collaborate, and create something of your own.

The project will culminate in December with the ReMake & ReConnect Bazaar, an open celebration of creativity and reuse, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas and creations to the public, alongside local reuse initiatives.

SYMBIOSIS is implemented by Greek Eco Project, in collaboration with SpaceTime.

Our Laboratories

Plastic Lab

The Plastic Workshop is equipped with specialized plastic processing machines, through which the full cycle of preparation, processing, and production of new plastic objects from single-use plastics can be completed.

Wood - Metal Lab

The Wood & Metal Workshop features both handheld and benchtop power tools, as well as a CNC Router machine capable of processing wood, metal, and plastic.

3D Printing Lab

The 3D Printing Workshop includes computers, 3D printers, and a machine that converts plastic (PET) bottles into filament for 3D printers.
