Why do I care about clean seas and coasts? The students of Lemnos gave it to us their answer:
So that the animals are not hurt!
So that children can play and swim safely!
Because they love the clean environment!
300 elementary school students, cleaned the beaches of Myrina, weighed the garbage that they collected, created information boards and through a quiz game, learned about animals, the environment and won prizes.
The program of actions entitled "Marine environment, coastal threats and fisheries", implemented as part of action 6.2 interactive events on beaches and fishing village, in collaboration with Development of Lemnos SA.
