DIVING AGAINST PLASTIC POLLUTION
The Diving Against Plastic Pollution project is an initiative by the Greek Eco Project that combines cleanup activities, plastic processing and upcycling workshops, and awareness events, aiming to raise public awareness about plastic pollution and promote sustainable, circular practices. Through citizen participation and collaboration with public authorities, the program strengthens skills, revitalizes workshop spaces, and creates new opportunities for a green, socially responsible economy.
The activities, which mostly focus on aquatic environments, offer participants a hands-on experience of the environmental challenge, giving them the chance to see the impact of waste up close and actively contribute to the protection of the natural environment, while also empowering the community and fostering collaboration for a more sustainable future.
Diving Against Plastic Pollution PA: Natural Environment and Climate Neutrality 2024, AA: 2 Innovative actions with citizen participation; funded by the Green Fund.
