Becoming a volunteer means that you wish to participate and contribute to the success of the Greek Eco Project actions on the day of their implementation.

Volunteering is a great way to help. At the same time, the experiences you gain, the new acquaintances and the satisfaction of the offer are the reward you seek.

The Greek Eco Project is zealous for what it was founded to do, namely the best it can for the protection of the natural environment and the awareness of the world.

Do you live in Thessaloniki, care about nature, and want to contribute to its protection? Then join Greek Eco Project to create, laugh, and learn all the ways you can help the environment.

Our activities are full of energy, creativity, and positive vibes!

As a volunteer in Thessaloniki, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be part of environmental protection: You can participate in our weekly activities, which you will learn about, from the monthly schedule sent to your email at the end of each month.
• Engage in actions that promote ecological awareness and sustainability.
• Enjoy special privileges: All our volunteers receive a 20% discount on our website products, because your contribution is invaluable!
• Meet other volunteers: Did we mention that every two months, we will organize casual meetings to get to know each other better and exchange ideas?
• Take initiatives: If you want to use your skills to enhance our shared goal of a healthier planet, we are here to listen to your ideas and see how we can implement them together!
• Strengthen your CV: With a certificate of participation that we will provide you.

Competition

The surprises don’t stop here! If you’re in Thessaloniki and sign up for our volunteer network, you have the option to participate in the #GreekEcoProjectChallenge as a volunteer of the Greek Eco Project and get a chance to win a trip for two people. 

What do you need to do?  

Participate in 16 of our activities within 8 months after your registration to enter the draw.  

To register for the contest, you must:

• Live in Thessaloniki

• Contribute to the Greek Eco Project 4 euros for 8 months via this platform: https://greekecoproject.gr/donation/

Greek Eco Project Volunteers Outside of Thessaloniki!

If you love the environment but are far from Thessaloniki, don’t worry! Our environmental community knows no borders, and we invite you to become a volunteer with the Greek Eco Project from anywhere in Greece!

As a volunteer outside Thessaloniki, you can:

• Organize activities in your city (e.g., beach cleanups) with our guidance, contributing to a cleaner environment.
• Participate in our activities across Greece (e.g., Festivals, reforestations, etc.) and receive a certificate of participation for your valuable contribution. If you’re concerned about how you’ll stay informed about these events, don’t worry – we’ll stay in touch!
• Showcase your actions as a member of a broader environmental volunteer network. Send us photos and a description, and we’d be thrilled to feature your initiative on our social media.
• Contribute remotely: If you have a skill or idea that can help our team (e.g., managing social media), we’d love to discuss how you can contribute from afar.
• Report environmental issues: If you notice an environmental need, you can notify us, and we’ll assess the situation and potential interventions.
